The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a government initiative that motivates students to actively participate in community service and social projects. It helps students gain firsthand experience in addressing social challenges and encourages a practical understanding of the world around them.

Montfort College established a Self-financed NSS Unit in 2017 to broaden these opportunities. All students are automatically enrolled, reflecting the college’s commitment to social responsibility.

Through the NSS, students engage in a range of activities aimed at supporting underprivileged groups and making a positive impact. These experiences foster teamwork, leadership, and a deeper connection to society, enriching students’ education beyond academics.
